- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies - Maintain accurate and organized property files and records - Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) to track and manage property information - Advertise and market available units to attract potential tenants - Screen and select qualified tenants in accordance with Fair Housing regulations - Collect rent payments and handle tenant inquiries and concerns - Coordinate maintenance and repairs for the properties - Enforce lease agreements and handle lease renewals and terminations - Prepare and present reports on property performance to management Skills - Strong administrative skills with attention to detail - Knowledge of real estate administrative procedures and practices - Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to property management - Understanding of Section 8 and LIHTC programs is a plus - Proficiency in using property management software, such as Yardi or similar platforms - Excellent customer relationship management skills - Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members Please note that this is a general job description for a Property Manager position.
